Vahana Gárrandrad

Vahana Gárrandrad is a village in the Summer Court of the Feywild. While the village's geographical and temporal coordinates relative to other landmarks of the Summer Court stay relatively consistent, Vahana Gárrandrad is known to float upwards and downwards on the surrounding clouds at seemingly random intervals. Vahana Gárrandrad has been the domain of Mab since her resurrection, after her murder during the reign of the Caorthannach.

Demographics

Unusually for a location in the Summer Court, Vahana Gárrandrad is primarily populated by sylphs, with a smattering of other winged creatures such as pixies and sprites. A coven of hags can also be found near the outer edges of Vahana Gárrandrad; it is unclear how Courtless Fey coexist within a domain so closely tied to a powerful Seelie Archfey.

History

No records exist of Vahana Gárrandrad prior to the Y800s of the Age of Complexity (CPX). Faerological records suggest that the village reappeared in tandem with Mab herself.

Architecture

The structures of Vahana Gárrandrad are pale and brittle, as if made of birds' bones. Their roofs are thatched with Featherstraw, a feat of architecture impossible to replicate on any other plane.
