General Summary

The Volker Ruins

After dealing with the Pteradons and having a close call saving Umeko the airship continued its journey. The experience, however, left a mark on Umeko who had increasingly more nightmares about Loki. When the group finally arrived in the Volker Desert Umeko decided to stay onboard of the ship.
The group was greeted by several soldiers who were clearly members of the Avaronian Spectres. Somehow they managed to convince them that they were the new batch of mercenaries set to explore the ruin and were let inside without issue.

Exploring

They quickly noticed that other adventurers had gone before them as several traps seemed to have been circumvented making the journey deeper into the ruins quite easy. However, eventually they reached a spot where the previous mercenaries met their end. Before them they saw the latest mercenaries standing compeletly still as if frozen in time. To make matters even more curious at the very center of the ruin there was what looked like an Avaronian soldier fighting a Selefer.
Luckily a new corridor was already dug around the room which enabled the group to circumvent the time freezing room. They then reached another room with a large locked door not too different from the doors they encountered in Tsugeti. By using the Celestial Key that they had fetched they were able to open the door and continue.
The next rooms were, however, completly different from the previous ruins. These rooms metallic and seemed out of place here in the desert. They found several smaller Asmer devices but eventually stumbled upon a gigantic room holding many Asmer armors. These were the kind of suits described by Tanajin that would allow him to walk freely again. By using their knowledge of celestial they managed to procure one of the suits and took it outside.

Escape

Whatever they did in the metallic ruins somehow caused the time stop device to turn off which resulted in a chaos as several different sides were suddenly involved in all out battle. The group managed to help the previous mercenaries by killing the Selefer. The elf in Avaronian armor soon asked for clarification as he himself revealed to still believe the Avaronian Empire to exist. They took him outside after revealing that he was much further in the future now.
Once the group emerged the Avaronian Spectres congratulated on clearing the way for them. As they did not see them as necessary anymore they decided to try to kill them. This plan of their backfired and the group managed to escape taking one of the surviving mercanaries with them. Now it was time to bring the items they procured back to Tanajin but first they had to make a stop.

Umeko

During the remainder of the journey Umeko's nightmares had become even worse. She decided it was best for her to return to the Bareniai Monastery to once again take control of her own mind, which would take time. The group said their goodbyes to Umeko, wishing her all the best and finally some peace. Their hope, to see her once more when all this was over.

Tanajin Lives

Their next stop were the ruins were Tanajin resided. Using the suit and the celestial key they were able to tranfer Tanajin's essence into the suit making him a full Prime Asmer once more! He thanked the group extensively proclaiming that he would help them in their greatest time of need. But first he kept true to his promise and revealed the location of the Divine Golem, which according to him was deep within the Silent Forest.
