Nei̯ Gorzacay vs Ledai̯ Veethei̯yor Military Conflict in Nei̯ Huyoishor | World Anvil

Nei̯ Gorzacay vs Ledai̯ Veethei̯yor

In the time before the migration to Nei̯ Huyoishor, there were two groups that emerged creating conflict in the Soi̯ngan people. One side believed that they should not live under the rule of those who can wield the runic power. The other... that if the other side wanted a fight, that they would show them the cost of creating strife.   The group Nei̯ Gorzacay only wanted to be left in peace and to have an equal voice concerning their lives. The group was a small minority of voices in the beginning and this led to frustrations growing as they felt that they were not being heard. From the lowest farmer, to people of prestige and standings, the group started to grow as more and more of the people started seeing the same issues becoming more and more prominent. The events that Nei̯ Gorzacay perceived as oppressive were in reality nothing more than oversights that did not take everyone into consideration as laws were discussed and made. There were those in the leadership of Nei̯ Gorzacay that viewed everything as a slight and could only have been an intentional act to keep those without the power under control.   Meanwhile, the actions of Nei̯ Gorzacay lead another group to come into existence as fears of protest and conflict began to surface from Nei̯ Gorzacay's actions. The Ledai̯ Veethei̯yor started as only a couple of individuals who felt that Nei̯ Gorzacay actions were the callings of open aggression. But as with anything... a small group becomes a stronger movement when left unchecked. It was these two, and still unknown, founders of Ledai̯ Veethei̯yor that began the strife with aggression and attacks. The first attacks were viewed as accidents, however.   A member of Nei̯ Gorzacay heading to work would have a section of the road suddenly destroy itself. A stairway would suddenly fail. Part of a building would suddenly crumble and people would have to scatter to avoid the falling debris. It wasn't until someone took the pessimistic viewpoint and looked at these incidents closer that partial runes were found at the scenes of the "accidents". Once the runes were discovered, Ledai̯ Veethei̯yor's numbers began to grow as others learned that someone was standing up to the noise that Nei̯ Gorzacay was producing.   The tensions and conflict built up more and more every day until the Ledai̯ Huyoishor Worgeeyoiu.

I get the feeling you ran out of time on this one. I would have liked to see its fruition! You've got an excellent start on a look at the causes and politics behind an asymmetrical conflict here.

And to that point... yes. I ran out of time for a fair number of reasons. :'(   I will eventually revisit everything as I did want to get the prompts done for Bronze. It did hurt the prompt submission that time was not in my favor... Which is when I opted to use these as a 'get it down and flesh it out later' prompt. Now that it is written, I have to get more on it right ;)

Whoo! I wouldn't want to get caught in the middle of this conflict. I hope you have time after tomorrow to flesh it out more. I would love to see the propaganda these two groups write about each other.

Cheers! There is a lot of thoughts that I have had that never had time during SC2023. I barely made my pledge level, and some of the articles show how rushed I was. Eventually I will get back around to polish up things, but when is up to that great RNG
