The Response

The History

There is little that is known about the ancient past in Soi̯ngan history. None of it has survived. Because of this, the past mistakes are not known and that has led to the peaceful existence of the people living on Nei̯ Huyoishor. But this isn't about the current timeline and history, oh no. This is about the past and what has led to the current Soi̯ngan's being ignorant of the destruction that has happened. Will they ever learn of their true past?   A millennia ago, the Runic Lords were ever present. They were even able to teach those who had no skill for controlling the runic power to utilize items that had runes embedded into them. This allowed everyone to be able to harness some benefit from the runic power that the world inherently held. The social and political groups all viewed this as a good thing to bring the world together.

This is a great day for all as we usher in this new era of peace and prosperity! Even now, runic items are being created that will allow workers to perform their jobs with more comfort and ease than ever before!
— Politician Tra'Marek of Gapeegee Vurnugy
Then, appearing out of nowhere, the Nei̯ Gorzacay quickly put an end to that belief.   The Nei̯ Gorzacay are a group of people whom are completely unable to use anything runic related. They are not even able to use those items that have runes carved into them. At first they were a very small rarity of the populace. As time passed, more and more of the runic dead, as they later became known as, appeared and frustrations began to be voiced. It wasn't until the small minority of Nei̯ Gorzacay became a vast majority in the major cities. As they became more and more vocal, protests became a daily norm. Among the main issues was that all of the machinery and jobs required people who could use the runes, or at the least activate them. That was impossible for the Nei̯ Gorzacay. This led them to live a hard life, unable to provide any form of income to support themselves and their families.   When nothing changed to make their lives more enriched, they started resorting to more extreme methods of making a statement toward their cause being acknowledged and taken seriously. These methods started with small things. comfort items in the workplace that made the jobs more enjoyable or easier to perform went missing. Sometimes they were found hidden in weird places, behind cooking places for example. As the Nei̯ Gorzacay became increasingly brazen, some of the runic items had certain runes altered or removed altogether. This led to some people having their hands blown off in explosions as their work items were destroyed in their hands when the items were activated. It wasn't long before the first death occurred, leading to the arrest and rounding up of the Nei̯ Gorzacay.
We have been shackled long enough! It is time for us to take maters to the next stage of progression and show those in power that they cannot hold us in chains forever!

It did not take long after Dru'Carmak called for violence for both sides to escalate the conflict. When the first Nei̯ Gorzacay death occurred, it was as if the world itself was rent in two. Dru'Carmak took his closest supporters and broke into multiple energy factories. Once inside, each group tampered with the generators to the point that they would destroy themselves once they were turned on for the next mornings shift.
Energy Factory Destruction by Midjourney
Once the factories started up the next day, chaos followed. Several factories were destroyed before the word was sent out to not allow them to start the days production. As rescue attempts were started to save any who might still be alive, the public called for a stop to Dru'Carmak and the Nei̯ Gorzacay. When nothing was done officially, retalliation groups began to emerge to take matters into their own hands. The common phrase that was used was: Ledai̯ Eevei̯lor yu ledai̯ Worʒa : or The War of the Strong. And it was being led by the group called Ledai̯ Veethei̯yor. The main problem with this main group was that they were willing to take matters even farther than Nei̯ Gorzacay. Ledai̯ Veethei̯yor hunted down Dru'Carmak and they didn't seem to care who was hurt in the process. This led to an even greater rift in both the public and the political arena.

It was roughly 12 years after Dru'Carmak was captured, subsquently tortured and ultimately killed that the event occurred. To those who survived it, they called the event Ledai̯ Huyoishor Worgeeyoiu or The Lands Destruction. No one really knows what actually happened, it is believed that Nei̯ Gorzacay sabotaged a newly created weapon facility where new research was being done. What is known about what happened is that parts of the world were destroyed so completely that they ceased to exist on the planet. Where they have gone is up for discussion among any who remain alive and remember what had taken place. What is remembered by some is that a diverse group of individuals whom all believed that both sides can live together in harmony separated from the mainstream society and left for a land mass that they called Nei̯ Huyoishor. Where that is located... Only those living there know because there were some of the Runic Lords that believed in their ideals enough to help them disappear from history.
This world has known fragile peace and the utter devestation that is war. We have sent those who seek a new beginning and peaceful coexistence into a realm of new understanding and hope.
