Who is Syl?
Syl comes from one the most highly prestigious wizard family, part of a community of noble wizards. However, Syl could never make his family proud; being the youngest out of all his siblings, his family had a lot of expectations for him. Some internal conflict eventually caused his family to disown him, with most in the city following suit and turning against him. The disowned noble fled to the forests, to survive the harsh dangers of the forest. Having the odds stacked against him, and after many hardships, he survived and kept on surviving. One day while running in the forest, he found a corpse of a dead person, with a Quarterstaff with hints of burn marks. Unbeknownst to him, the staff attracted attention from the group it came from. After getting confronted by a man from the group, he decides to take Syl in, thus becoming an apprentice. He begins training with his mentor, accompanying him throughout his endeavour, and learning to become a druid. After getting acquainted with the group, he travels the world accompanying various people throughout their lives, mainly staying with his mentor. After years of training, Syl now adventures without his mentor to the unknown, exploring the world and seeking to protecting his world.The one who downed Syl

On the 11/02/2020, while combating a death knight, Syl got struck down and defeated. Upon landing, a fiery aura rose from his Quarterstaff, and Syl seemed to take on a different personality. Syl seemed unaware of any change. On the 30/06/2020, Syl got a vision of him giving his sword Zordin's blade to Vorontir Strel. Syl has for the past few days been feeling his sword Zordin's blade getting heavier and heavier. Syl sought out help from the Grandmaster of Fooks School of Magic Talanashta Quedys. The Grandmaster searched within Syl and concluded that there's a restless soul within Syl and his Quarterstaff. Syl was advised to destroy the relic, but he felt like that would be a very bad idea. Nonetheless, on the 07/07/2020, Syl gave Zordin's blade to Vorontir as prophesied by the blade. Upon giving the blade, he felt a sinister warmth surrounding him. As the group journeys to Shadow Pines and fight their way through primal wolves, Syl turns into a fire elemental and awakens Sylvain. On the 08/09/2020, Syl talked with Ashari, who reaffirmed the fact that something evil was inside Syl. Ashari let him know that he could in fact get rid of the evil, but Syl could for some reason not get himself to do it.
