Skull Circle
The area of sea in between Orindal and Zimroth is known as Skull Circle. It is an extremely rough patch of sea, with swirling whirlpools and sharp rocky islands making it almost impossible to navigate. Despite this, many battles over the centuries have taken place here and the circle has claimed many lives.
The name Skull Circle comes from an old legend that says those who adorn their vessels with the skulls of their enemies shall be granted safe passage through the turbulent waters.
