Raux Underground
There are several schemes in place in Raux to serve the criminal underground and these are outlined below. The letters next to the titles reflect which leaders have their own version in place, Reggie, Marcus and Eldan.
Protection Racket - R/M/E
They protect their areas businesses in an unofficial capacity from damage, usually caused by themselves or the rival rackets. Loans
Lending money to those that need it usually with a steep repayment plan. Gambling Debts
Failing to pay debts usually doesn't end well for the people that owe it, or in some cases their families. Blackmailing
If they find a way to extort they will. Smuggling
All sorts of things can be smuggled from place to place including stolen goods, contraband, people etc. Bribery
Keeping the Black Guard at bay requires coin to those who can be bought. Counterfeiting
Certain objects carry value such as currency as skilled forgers can make something seemingly identical for a fraction of the cost. Murder for hire
If you need somebody dead and have the coin then there's somebody for you probably willing to try it.
