Quarion Keenh
Commander Keenh, a distinguished arcanist, is charged with the arcane training and teachings within the Crestguard, teaching recruits in addition to further developing and maturing the skills of existing members.
Quarion is said to have several methods and rituals for assessing the arcane potential of the rookie warriors, although the specifics are closely kept secrets. Even those with no natural magical ability or insights are able to harness some weaker forms of arcane power under their expert tuition.
As well as regular martial training, the Crestguard regularly take time to strengthen and improve their magical abilities. Quarion frequently sees all members of the guard to help them form a deeper connection to their magic as well as teaching them new skills. A speciality of the Crestguard is their ability to alter the effects of common spells and abilities, throwing curveballs to unprepared foes and bending the arcane to their will.
Not one to be complacent, Quarion is constantly trying to push their boundaries and experiment with new abilities or twists on old ones. It is rumoured this is how they came to have odd scarring all over their body, by tapping into very powerful magic, trying to harness it. Many accounts of individuals witnessing the commander in battle tell of the strongest most destructive magic they have ever seen.
