Kalni

The area known as Kalni is made up of a small cluster of mountains in the center of Aunia Lake just south of Dragontale. These peaks feature some of the richest, reddest hues of all the surrounding mountains, however, they are much smaller in height than some of their towering cousins.
Some land around the base of the rocks is flatter and more hospitable, but the majority presents a challenging climb. A cluster of small structures line the area which is used by the Crestguard for training purposes, the steep terrain and obscured visibility of the natural fog make Kalni an excellent location for military exercises.

Points of Interest

Redcrest Outpost

The main wooden building on the flat land area used by the Crestguard is known as the Redcrest Outpost. The main structure is multiple storeys high and comprised of many smaller connecting sections used for battle simulations and training exercises. When a training day is in full swing, Kalni is filled with noises of combat, bright lights and even thick plumes of smoke.

Tinboor Plateau

Another landmark used by the Crestguard but this time way up the largest mountain of the cluster. A large sweeping rocky plateau thousands of feet above the lake, used primarily for aerial combat training. There is said to be a gruelling trial that involves scaling the entire mountain with minimal equipment and resources, reserved only for the toughest warriors.

Arcanist's Forge

There is rumoured to be a secret forge somewhere in the mountains where master metalworkers and enchanters create the equipment used by the Crestguard.
