Greenthorn
A woodland village on one of the eastern Aardragoon Islands with a primarily elven population, excellent teams of hunters and rangers protect and maintain the wildlife and protect from poachers and pirates that would seek to take from them. It is said that even the fierce Redtooth Raiders avoid this island due to the losses they suffered when attempting to raid in the past.
Greenthorn also oversees and protects many smaller villages on this island and those close by, forming a sort of network of communities not bound to any factions around them. There have been countless battles between the rangers here and the pirates and raiders but none have proven successful at mounting a devastating enough attack to gain any ground.
Travellers and merchants are welcome to stay and do business here but taking crops or interfering with animals is not permitted and is subject to fines and banishment from the island. This is the legendary home of Hantu an excellent marksman known for their kill shots over impossible distances.
