Stretched Ink
She can be a little unsettling at times but she generally understands the show... she's typecasted for every role but she adores the attention.A female nightmare spawned from The Nocta Mori and close friend of Peregrine due to being a similar age to Peregrine and was the one trusted by Madame Precision to 'show Peregrine the ropes' this meant far more than just the art of acrobatics. She also taught peregrine the basics of dreaming and gave her emotional support through the circus meeting suitors. A kind, understanding, if somewhat sarcastic friend that is ride or die for Peregrine. Stretched Ink is a constantly morphing and changing nightmare who elongates her limbs into shadowy inky tendrils to allow her to pull off reality defying acrobatics in performances. Often Stretched Ink is cast as the villains in Cirque Arcadia performances but has recently received a leading role in their most recent performance. In the party's interactions with Stretched Ink they found her to be kind and amiable, if a little nervous and anxious in the lead up to her role in the Bloomwilt performance of The Long Night. However, during the Quori and Nocta Mori attack on the town of Bloomwilt, Stretched Ink was one of the performers possessed by the Dark Spore variant and she set her sights firmly on trying to take the life of [Whispering Light whom she claimed had taken something from the 'king'. Later, when her possession was ended by Esmerae and Peregrine, she retained some of her memories, stating that Whisper had, possibly unwittingly, taken a shard of the King's crown and that they would not stop hunting him until it was returned. The last time the party saw Stretched Ink, she was helping Whisper wake up the circus performers in order to make an escape; just after saying a final goodbye to Peregrine.
