The Jewelled

The jewelled are the primary military force of Peridot with their backing from all rulers and hands giving them the right to act as the martial force. They are protectors of politicians, holders of the peace and quellers of assaults on the large populace and the jewels. Are they under the pay of rulers? Yes. Does this occassionally cause some to question their true loyalties? Yes. But it is the same as all factions, bad tends to mix in with the good. Restrictions: No monstrous races, no criminal records and no history of violence. Trial: One must complete a series of standard tests and then vow to give their life to the rulers and the fortunes of Peridot. After that you are a member of the jewelled. Assets

Wealth and Resources: The 2nd wealthiest faction in Peridot. They are funded by taxes, other factions and the rulers themselves; this gets them many favours, equipment bought for them and lots of money though soldiers aren’t generally well paid. Members: thousands… they’re a fucking army.
