Military actionThe Archlich Dagrazt brings war and famine to the free peoples of Continental Malatoria. For over 100 years he reigns terror on all that is good and just before a coalition of the free races band together to dispatch him.
The Golden Age

Dagrazt is dealt a rebuke and fades back into the shadows for centuries. Tensions remain high but Gneiss and Elendar live more at peace than war. The demi-humans extend their reach through trade, arts, and culture. New Kingdoms and Free Cities are founded. Dagrazt re-emerges and is ultimately defeated in The War Against the Darkness.

Military actionThe Archlich Dagrazt reappears in continental Malatoria and his forces pour from the southwest; waging war on the goodly folk, overtaking cities, creating unrest through subterfuge, and permanently scarring the lands. The war rages for decades and is ultimately decided at the Battle of the Rauros Bridge.

Doom of the Gnollspur Forest
Disaster / DestructionOne of the major events occurring during the War Against the Darkness, this terrible cataclysm occurred when a mad mage known as Maloron attempted to ascend to lichhood at his tower in the Gnollspur Forest. Although he was thwarted by a group of heroes, a terrible withering explosion blighted the land and devastated nearly three quarters of the forest. Since that time, the Wood Elves of the Gnollspur Forest have worked tirelessly to revive and replenish their once splendid home. Some of the Wood Elves decided to leave the forest and start fresh at the newly discovered colony of Romen Dor on the continent of Grand Ymmarion.
