Wood Elves of the Gnollspur Forest

More mirthful and friendlier towards outsiders than their cousins, the Elves of the Great Forest, the Wood Elves are on good terms and deal often with the free cities and Dwarves of Stoneheart, whom they regard with deep affection. The Elves of the Great Forest are on friendly terms with their cousins, but regard them as slightly uncouth and unrefined. This attitude sometimes leads to rivalries and tension between the two sylvan peoples.
For many centuries, the Wood Elves have made their capital in Treetown, a vast network of platforms, bridges, and camouflaged huts that rest high above the forest floor.
At one time, the Wood Elf population had swollen to over 15,000. That changed drastically, however, during the Doom of the Gnollspur Forest  in which nearly half of their population was lost. Many of the surviving Wood Elves, including their king Calendil Shimmerleaf have begun to rebuild their once thriving colony. Others have moved on to start new lives, and new colonies, at other places such as the Great Forest, and the Romen Dor.

The Wood Elves are ruled over by their King Calendil Shimmerleaf and his daughter, Isuldriel Shimmerleaf.
