Treetown

Treetown is the capital city for the Wood Elves of the Gnollspur Forest.  It is a network of bridges, platforms, camouflaged houses, that span one of the denser parts of the Gnollspur Forest.  During the Doom of the Gnollspur Forest a large section of Treetown was obliterated.  Since that time, the elves that have remained have begun to painstakingly restore their home.  
At the center of Treetown is the Elder Oak, one of the oldest trees in Malatoria.  Within its canopy King Calendil Shimmerleaf holds court with his daughter Isuldriel Shimmerleaf.

Infrastructure

A number of bridges and zipline type attachments connect the network of platforms that make up the majority of Treetown.

Architecture

The Wood Elves aesthetic drives them towards finding and highlighting the natural beauty in the world around them.  Things are left natural when possible, or natural formations are utilized to augment their architecture.  This sensibility lends a sort of natural camouflage to their capital city.  Their southern cousins, the Elves of The Great Forest, view this as somewhat rustic and unrefined but Treetown is an undeniably wondrous place, if one can find it.
