Magia
The Magia is the Island Capital of the Magus Conclave. The Magia functions as a city state, and is densely populated and entirely dependant on the Satrapies for resources.
At its center sits The Collage of Magi, center of magical learning in the Seven Satrapies.
Demography and Population
The Magia is a varied city, frequently visited by ships from all seven satrapies. The permanent population consists of those working in service, crafts people and traders and those working for businesses.
Military
The main military force in Magia is the Pact Blades, talented Arcane casters who are trained in all aspects of fighting. These elite warriors act as Guards for the Arcane, Divine and Magisters, as well as guarding the people against them. In their history Pact Blades have ended the life of Acanes and Divines who have stepped outside of their roles.
The Magia also employs city guards who act under the prerogative of the Magistrate of their district.
The Magia is surrounded by defensive walls, and maintains eight towers each with platoon of soldiers for the defence of the Magia.
Religion
The Magia is the center of religion in the Satrapies, with the Divine residing in Concord’s Tower at the center of the College of Magi.
The Magisterium also maintains offices in the College, as well as its own tower in the City.
The Grand Cathedral is the center Ioism, and the first temple built to honour Asgorath. The Divine makes regular aprearences particularly on holy days where they perform public miracles.
Foreign Relations
Each of the Satrapies maintains its own embassy and support staff as well as residences for their High Magister. These embassys work to promote the political interests of their own satrapy, and also work closely with any College students who’s education their Satrapy is funding.
Education
The College of Magi sits at the center of the Magia. It is divided into eight schools each of which maintain their own tower that train and house students who wish to specialise in their disciplines. Each school is headed by an Arch Mage who is selected by mages of their own disipline as the most knowledgeable of their ranks.
Students typically start at age thirteen or fourteen spending their first year in basic education on a range of topics including history, religion, politics and mathematics as well as basic magical theory. After their first year students spend a further two years studying a general curriculum including all magical schools, before choosing their preferred disciplines in their fourth year. Students graduation testing starts at the end of their fifth year, but many students continue to study, taking on more disciplines, or taking more time in order to pass the testing.
Education in the College is expensive, and students without the wealth to pay for their own education have their tuition paid by their satrapy, a sponsor, or by the College themselves. In exchange for paying their tuition these students spend a period of time contracted to their sponsor, and are expected to serve out a period of time equal to that of their studies in service before fulfilling their contracts.

Legislative Body
Laws are created by The Conclave, a council composed of the Arcane, Divine and Mundane and the High Magisters.
Meetings of the Conclave are overseen by the Divine (with the Arcane stepping into the role when a Divine is not available) who puts forward each agenda item and after time for discussion, brings each item to a vote.
While it was initially expected that the Magisters act as Diplomats on behalf of their Satraps, the situation quickly reversed with Magisters typically holding the majority of political control in their own nations, with Satraps enacting their will.
The Magisters, one for each of the Seven Satrapies vote, as does the Divine. The Mundane has speaking rights and can represent the needs of the people in debate, but does not have voting rights.
The Arcane is expected to speak only on matters that directly relate to The Collage of Magi, and has voting rights only in the event of a tie.
Magisters and the Arcane are always magically talented, while the Mundane must not be. While Divines almost always begin their training in the College of Magi their connection with Asgorath make them uniquely able to cast Divne Magic.
Judicial Body
The Law in the Magia is enforced by District Magistrates, though the Pact Guard also hold rights to judge and enforce scentences where they directly encounter crime (For example in the event of the attempted assasination of one of their charges, the assasin would be judged by the Commander of the Pact Guard and not a Magistrate)
