Brave servants of the emperor.
"Welcome recruits. This may be the start of your training but it is far from the end. It is natural to be nervous when starting something new. If you are excited, I hope that excitement keeps you going all through your training for if it fades away, you will begin to struggle. Those of you who are neither nervous or excited, become one of those things. Complacency will be the end of you in a place like this."
A Force Unequaled
On Breharan - and as far as anyone knows, the entirety of the skies - there is no fighting force that rivals that of the Bral military. The only thing that has prevented them from taking Grara is Tokai Pass, the narrow strip of land between two mountains that connects the two nations. The army consists of footsoldiers, mounted knights on horseback, support personnel, and more. Their functions in recent history have been relegated to working in construction and during disaster relief efforts but they still train rigorously preparing for whatever they may find out on the sky when the first imperial skyships are completed.The Emperor's Hand
Unlike the fearsome Skyknights, the military is not under the direct control of the emperor. This stems from the founding of the nation when Temur Dodai was captured and one of his closest allies took control of his forces until his return. As a reward for this act and holding out until his return, the first emperor made them the first general.Stub Article

Among the most well-known and well-respected - and well-feared by their enemies - parts of the Bral forces are not even a part of the Bral military. The Skyknights of Bral ride fearsome, battle-trained, ketzlat through the skies and each individual member is capable of taking out entire units. More than their combat prowess, their ability to gather intelligence, cut-off supply lines or create new ones, and their tactical thinking makes them as fearsome inside the war room as they are on the battlefield."It isn't easy to recruit because if you ask someone if they want to become one of the emperor's finest, well, they think you want them to become a Skyknight. Unfortunately, Skyknights are rarely recruited from among the ranks of the military."
