Constructs
Constructs, previously known as mystics, are beings made of pure elemental composition. While they were notable obstacles for the elves during Morgunn and Dagur, none have been reported in the modern era. Evidence of them remains in the forms of their homes, be it volcanoes, oceans, oil wells, etc. Their motive for destroying Mailes or confronting Ghei Wyl before the exodus is unknown, but the elves never achieved vengeance, as the constructs disappeared when the elves began their march out west. Most current perspectives say they were frightened and acting out, knowing their extinction was inevitable, but evidence for this claim is limited.
In the modern eyes of elves, the constructs are somehow related to the primordial gods of Laminarum: Saaurithale, Silse, Guilime, Authile, Authile, and Melifi. The theory stems from the alleged design of the constructs, stating they are composed of pure ingredients of Laminarum given shape and life. Some think they were built with positive intentions but became corrupted by Melifi. Others believe they exist to raze the unnatural, such as a civilization grown too large.
Appearance After Mailes
While the Razing of Mailes is generally considered the last substantial sighting of the Constructs, they would reappear during the elvish expansion west of Silse's central mountain range. Due to Nim's eventual conflicts with the Western Elves, their sightings are generally considered unreliable.
Regardless of politics, the claim of Western constructs is no less substantial than that of the Eastern. The location is consistent with the direction the constructs must have gone after destroying Mailes, and living individuals today still support the claims. The main difference was the perverse impact of Waning Rock on the creatures, which is another controversial point of discussion for the elves.
