Corar

Corar is a tropical paradise. Clear blue seas gently lap against miles of soft sandy beaches in the shade of softly swaying palm trees. The people are warm and friendly, and welcoming of those who wish to visit and relax in what they call the best place in the Empire of Kyrnia. Artisans, merchants, jewelers, and laborers intermingle along the sandy beaches, bringing the beauty of the land to you as you relax in the shade with a cool drink.

Structure

The Count has a few trusted men and women who help him run the affairs of the Barony, in particular his wife, who has taken on many tasks that the Count does not have the time for, but which needs to be done. The leaders of the several towns assist in carrying out duties as assigned, and work to make sure Corar remains a tropical paradise.

Culture

The people are warm and friendly, and welcome visitors with a smile. Most of the population lives along the coastline, and work at fishing, and harvesting other bounties of the sea. The Corari approach to life is laid back and joyful. Even during work, they smile, and greet all who approach. Often times work is stopped when an important guest arrives or when a game or sport seems like the better option.  This leads many to believe that the Corari are lazy, but that is not true, they just appreciate the small moments in life more than others.

Public Agenda

The Count and Countess are working to improve the export of their forest crops and seafood, as well as to encourage other nobles to build summer homes along the coast, as a way to increase tax revenues.
