Baelric
Blood flows where once wine did
Baelric is land torn asunder. The death of it's former ruler has left his son and his brother fighting over control of this county. Where once the biggest disagreement in te lnd was whether to open a bottle of red wine or a bottle of white wine, now towns are in ruin, and kin is slaying kin. Opposing armies sit waiting for talks to break down and war to resume, while bandits, often unemployed mercenaries wander the country taking what they want, and pointing blame at those who started the war.
Structure
Currently, Baelric is undergoing a civil war, and as such there are two competing governments. Both of these governments operate in a similar fashion, with the leader of the faction claiming the title of Count of Baelric, and surrounding himself with loyal vassals that for his small council.
Culture
Before the civil war, Baelric was a quiet and peaceful land. The people and its leaders were content to grow grape, make wine, and live what the people of Baelric call, the "sunset style", which involves hard work during the day, but the day is filled with laughter and good cheer, followed by a glass of their local wine as the sun touched the horizon, surrounded by friends and family. The Baelricans long to return to those days.
Public Agenda
The most important thing for the Baelricans now, is settling tis civil war.
Assets
Baelric County would be known for its fertile cropland and vineyards if only peace could return to the region.
History
In the County of Baelric, the Count Milton de Roomashae died 15 years ago. The Count's succession was never settled as his son, the Viscount Ean Baelric and the Viscount's uncle, Baron Ehan Baelric, have fought a bloody feud since the death of the Count. The wars have been quiet over the past year as both sides, under Imperial orders, have been negotiating, although "bandit" raids seem to have increased recently.
Demography and Population
Baelric is divided into the lower grasslands to the northwest, and the forests of the southeast. Both regions grow the grapes and make the wine that make Baelric famous, but the towns in the southeast have been the more prosperous and have grown the largest.

Agriculture & Industry
Baelric's greatest agriculture is its vineyards, although they have suffered as has the rest of the croplands in this area. Back before the civil war broke out, the wine flowed out of Baelric like a river to all the lands of the Empire, and others as well.
Trade & Transport
Many things need to be imported to Baelric, that once were exported, and caravans do their best to supply both sides of the conflict with their needs, but raids from both armies, as well as from bandits who are taking advantage of the situation have taken a great toll.
