Farguard

Farguard, in the eastern rain forest of Corar, was once an important military outpost, but the castle was razed during the Great Fallen Incursion, and has not been rebuilt. Several attempts at rebuilding the castle have failed, and although there are numerous reasons why it failed, the locals believe the site is cursed and haunted by those that perished in the destruction. So the ruins sit crumbling on the hillside overlooking the town. The people try not to even look at it, and when they do see it, they make a sign of warding to keep the restless spirits away from them.
