Draconic

The language of Dragons is well known despite its moniker. Dragons have been an important part of Kesia for millenniums, as they were there when Kesia was unified and have been with us since the Age of Strife. Their influence has been so great that several countries wear Draconic as a badge of honor: Atia, Lalas, and Miglia specifically.

However, it is not just the language of Dragons but also the people who are connected to the dragons. Half-dragon, Dragonborn, Dragonkin, Lizardfolk, and even Yuan-Ti have a natural ability to speak it. Even Ancient Magic is written in Draconic, pushing forward the idea that magic was not a given for everyone in ancient times. That gods, demon lords, and archdevils spread its use to the mortal races, using Dragons, Angels, Fiends, and even Fey as their instruments.

Geographical Distribution

Draconic is spread across Kesia just as much as common is. Everyone has experience with Draconic in one way or another. It is prevalent in Migilia, home of the Dragonborn and the Dragon Empires of Lalas and Atia. The Yuan-Ti of the West are prominent speakers of it as well as the Lizardfolk of Shinovar, Flokia, and Ocheon.
