Undercommon

In a place as vast and as perilous as the Underdark, a Lingua Franca can make all the difference. That's exactly what Undercommon does for the people of the Underdark. It has no relation to Common other than the fact that it's a Lingua Franca. It is written in Elvish script and takes from all languages that exist in the Underdark. Deep Gnomes, Dark Elves, and Grey Dwarves all use this language as well as the other mysterious species that the rest of Kesia has no knowledge of.

No one knows who really started it but a common theory is that the slaves of the Underdark are the ones who started it. After all, oppressed people will always find common ground. And what is more of common ground than the same language?

Geographical Distribution

Capra is the main example of where Undercommon can be found but considering that the Underdark is spread all over Kesia, it should be no shock that it can pop up elsewhere where there is an entrance to the surface.
