Primordial
The father of all Dwarvish script and the language of the beings of the Elemental Planes. Primordial is the first language that was spawned after Atlian from what old records seem to prove. An analysis done by Yuan-Ti between Atlian and Primordial show a stark relation as the script, despite being Dwarvish in later years, actually comes from Atlian. Whatever elder being spoke this language clearly spawned the beings that would spawn the entire multiverse, even all gods themselves.
Primordial, since it is a language of the inner planes, is split between dialects. Each one is specific to an Elemental plane and the people of it.
- Aquan: One of the most flexible dialects of Primordial and the language of the Elemental Plane of Water. It is spoken by Triton, Sea Elves, Water Genasi and even some sapient fish folk as well.
- Auran: The dialect of aspiration and to feel as light as the Elemental Plane of Air. Aarakocra, Air Genasi, and Kenku can understand this language. In fact, the Aarakocra language comes from Auran, being seen as a dialect of a dialect. Auran is usually focused on how much air is pushed out of the speaker when they use it.
- Ignan: A dialect that vocalizes the cracking of embers in a person's voice. It is a dialect focused on the fiery emotions that rule a person's heart which makes it a common voice for Fire Genasi and those from the Elemental Plane of Fire.
- Terran: A dialect that sounds like a collapsing tunnel. It is the most basic of all dialects and serves as a baseline for Primordial. Anytime a person speaks Primordial with no real dialect or accent, it is usually assumed to be this.
Geographical Distribution
Aquan is common on the coastline where any major body of water is. After all, where a large body of water is, there's usually a sea-folk people who are nearby. Auran is common in Torzhokia as the Aarakocra frequent that area. Terran and Ignan aren't seen that commonly in Kesia but Primordial as a base could be spoken anywhere.
