Dark Dragon
About
Dark dragons are one of the rarest dragon species in Isidoro, known for their powerful horns and heavy tail. They are a non-threatened species, and can be found in areas that get minimal light. They are known to roost in cave systems and are usually reclusive.
Their ideal territories have minimal light due to their light sensitivity, and have plenty of tunnels and space for young and old dark dragons to curl up in.
Locomotion
Dark dragons are capable of flying as well as gliding. Due to their heavy tail, it is more common to see them glide from great heights instead of rapidly flapping, though they will use their tail to achieve longer glide distances.
They are able to move on the ground as well, though it is more awkward due to their arms. They will often slither and flap at the same time, mostly using their wings for balance. The scaling along their tail and abdomen ensure that no matter the terrain, they are able to move without injuring themselves.
