Ye Old Crossbows
In the southwestern part of Costa, just west of the Costa Shopping District you will find a small tavern hidden among the houses and apartments. Walking in, there is nothing to write home about. There is a middle-aged orc who stands behind the counter cleaning the tankards. However, if you wait until nightfall, you will find the reason that people wait outside the doors of this tavern.
Purpose / Function
When the moon is in the sky and you catch just the right night, you will hear what at first sounds like a screech that rings throughout the tavern. As you listen closer you hear music drift throughout the air. It sounds beautiful. More beautiful than you ever could imagine. As you listen, you would think it was a violin, then you are sure it is a woman singing, and as you listen more it sounds like a piano. As the music plays, light drifts down the stairwell, and fills the tavern. From the stream of light butterflies and other figures all made of pure light burst out of the stream taking flight and flying around the room. It is for certain a transcendental experience.
