Leisl Siannodel is a Shadowborn Bard. She is Half-Shadar-Kai and was raised in the Shadowfell. She was a member of The Chosen Nine.
After she helped The Chosen Nine to defeat Caldera, she became the Champion of Ytasis.

Personal history
Leisl Siannodel was raised in a town in the Shadowfell called Elderfall. She had a close relationship with her father, Denton Siannodel. At some point, Denton died. She encountered him later as a skeletal butler.
In 70 3E, she met some famous heroes who were concerned about the disappearance of Aramel and Blackrazor. Alan had found a cloth at the scene of the crime, and Leisl recognized it as being from the Shadowfell. They joined forces, becoming the first half of The Chosen Nine.
Alan took her and the group back to the Mythic Era using the Brooch of Time Traveling. Upon entering Aramel's Hut, Leisl had a vision of Blackrazor at the Obsidian Altar. The group decided to go to the Shadowfell and retrieve it. Leisl guided them to the Fortress of Shadows and into the Shadowfell.
Upon arriving in the Shadowfell, Leisl gave a raven the story of the adventurers she met as an offering to the Raven Queen. Xyla followed that message to the Raven Queen's Castle and stole it back. The group went to Leisl's hometown of Elderfall and spoke to the Sages of Elderfall. The Sages suggested they check out the Ebon Library. There, they discovered information about Blackrazor. Leisl asked the 900-year-old librarian if that was really it. She pulled out a scroll and gave it to them, revealing the Prophecy of the Chosen Nine for the first time.
Looking at a tapestry on the wall of the library, Leisl had another vision, this time of the Abandoned Chapel of Sylvanor. Going to check it out, they found a hidden tapestry with nine figures, one of which is sticking a sword into a pedestal. They were then attacked by a Shadow Dragon. During this fight, Leisl used the spell Animate Objects for the first time, animating church pews to attack. This became a signature spell of hers. After defeating the Shadow Dragon, the group spotted the Obsidian Altar in the distance. They began to head that way.
When they arrived at the Obsidian Altar, Leisl found out that her father had become a Death Knight, Sir Mortis, in service to the Raven Queen. He attacked, and she summoned a shadow dog that killed him. Leisl took up Blackrazor and kept it until it was stolen by Damek.
Once The Chosen Nine came together and left Illon's atmosphere headed for Caldera, Leisl fell asleep and had a vision.
You see Xyla stealing your story back from the Raven Queen. Suddenly, you're standing before the Queen's shadowed throne. Her voice echoes in the stillness, “The world must fall. When Darkness sweeps the land, my power will be absolute.” In a flash, you witness the Harmonic Convergence. And as it unfolds, the world of Illon is plunged into deep, oppressive darkness. You hear a young man’s tenor voice cry out “No! Mother!” The vision shifts, and you see Nettie, startled and breathless, jolting awake from her own vision.When the group arrived in the Core of Caldera, Mohtarr asked them all "Why do you really want to destroy Caldera? Is it just about the prophecy?" Leisl answered that she believes the Shadowfell is special and she wants it to remain special by upholding the balance. When the group fought the Caldera Guardian, it had been weakened and Leisl cast Dispel Magic on it, ending it. As Alan shoved Blackrazor into the Core of Caldera, Leisl cast a Teleportation Circle to bring everyone back to the Fortress of Shadows. There, Ytasis invited her to become his champion and deliver dreams to sleeping people. She would become the ultimate storyteller. Leisl agreed. She returned to the Shadowfell and found her dad's bones before reporting for duty as Champion of Ytasis. Her specialty became nightmares that become dreams, ones that start scary and then through gaining strength, you overcome it.
