Physical Description
General Physical Condition
Alan has purplish-gray skin, deep violet eyes, and a shock of white hair. In his youth he was chubby with round cheeks and a pronounced belly, but scarcity, activity, and growth slim him to a more typical Drow appearance in his teen years. However, Alan actively cultivates a soft middle as soon as he is able to--partly as a way to thumb his nose at Drow standards, and possible because believes that sweet bread is one of life's greatest pleasures.
Identifying Characteristics
To express his admiration and loyalty for Damek the Bastard, Bryvv shaved his hair into a mohawk--a style he would keep through his teen years.

Personal history
Bryvv grew up in Menzoberranzan. At eleven years old, he ran away from home and stole the Brooch of Time Traveling. He met Aramel and began traveling with him.
A year later, the two of them joined up with A Group of Elves. Bryvv had feelings toward Qibynn and confided in Aramel about them. But just as he asked Aramel what he was supposed to do about them, Aramel vanished. Seeking somebody else to follow, he chose Damek the Bastard as his new father figure.
The group later met Alan, Bryvv's future self and Damek the Bastard's biological father. He told Damek to tell Bryvv that he could put on the Brooch of Time Traveling to save Aramel. If he does, he would live the life that Alan lived. If he doesn't, he would live a normal life, but Alan would cease to exist and Aramel would continue traveling through time. Bryvv had an existential crisis about this.
After he helped his group defeat Queen Belladonna and Waywocket the Wicked, he stole the Cursed Brooch of Time Traveling from Aramel, left a note, and put on the Brooch. He took Blackrazor back in time to hide it somewhere in the Mythic Era.
When Bryvv was 20, he appeared in 70 3E, where he met Xyla for the first time. She kept her secret from him and he never quite understood her love for him. She left him, secretly to become Champion of the Raven Queen.
He spent many years time traveling randomly after that. When he turned 100, he took his adult name, Alan, based on the adult future self Damek had met so many years ago. At around 200 years old, he appeared during The Drow Raids of the Second Era. There, he met a much younger Xyla and met her again. He was never able to fully tell her the truth about how they met previously. He and Xyla had a son, Damek. Alan's curse forced him to leave shortly after.
When Alan was 345 years old, he appeared back in 54 3E to meet up with his friends. It had been 333 years for him, but mere hours for them. When each member of the group was offered a wish by Corellon Larethian, Bryvv wished to remove the curse on the Brooch so that it could be used at will. When it came time for Damek to make his wish, he asked if Alan had truly loved Xyla. Alan said he did, and Damek wished for her to be brought back. The three of them became a happy family. From that point on, he rarely used the brooch, only to pick off-season flowers for Xyla and visit Aramel.
At around 700 years old, he went back to Belladonna's Final Ball, remembering that he needed to speak to his younger self's group.
In 70 3E, an 800-year-old Alan went back in time to visit Aramel and found that he was gone, along with Blackrazor. He got back together the old group, forming the first half of The Chosen Nine.
Later, when the rest of the Chosen Nine met up, Alan bonded with Kraggin by asking about his anxiety and how to make him feel more comfortable. Afterwards, Alan told Damek that if they were unable to make it off of Caldera after destroying it, that he would stay behind to make sure Damek could get away.
As they left Illon's atmosphere headed for Caldera, Alan had a vision.
You stand frozen on a high balcony, looking down into the throne room of the Raven Queen. Below, Xyla confronts her, fear etched across her face as the Queen points a massive talon at her. “THIEF!” she bellows, her voice echoing ominously through the chamber. “You will repay your debt.” Suddenly, the Raven Queen’s piercing gaze shifts upward, locking onto you with a menacing intensity that chills your bones. The weight of her stare pulls you from the vision, and you awaken with a sharp gasp, heart racing.When the Chosen Nine were invited to a feast with the Calderans, Alan ate only Gravestalk Root. When the group arrived at the Core of Caldera, Mohtarr asked them all "Why do you really want to destroy Caldera? Is it just about the prophecy?" Alan answered with a telepathic message directly to the god.
I have lived my entire life out of order. In that way, I am chaotic and would not exist in a world ordered and ruled and without its strange shadows. It's also not surprising then that my son raised me more than I raised him. I am not here for the world except that I am here for him. I want the sword destroyed more than I want the moon destroyed, I want my son saved more than I want my world saved. And I fear this sword would be the death of him and all that I am proud of, regardless how little I had to do with his goodness. This is my last chance to be worthy of being his father. To give him the world and spare him this wicked blade.After the group defeated the Caldera Guardian, Alan pickpocketed Blackrazor from Damek and thrust it into the Core of Caldera, destroying both the sword and the moon. Alan's ankles sunk into the ground. Nettie attempted to save him by Misty Stepping them away, but was blown back by magical force. As the group teleported back to Illon, they looked up and watched the moon explode, killing Alan.

Bryvv was a chubby, stubborn boy raised in a toxic matriarchy that demanded grace, obedience, and physical perfection. Having been shamed for his gender, size, and independent streak, Bryvv left and immediately sought male role models.

Motivation
Bryvv ran away from the Underdark when he was eleven years old in search of adventure and validation. Initially a true neutral rogue and a bard torn between shadow and spotlight, Bryvv would eventually surrender to the fate of a time traveler intent on both sparing the world from a great evil and relieving his mentor Aramel from the same burden.

Bryvv is the future father of Damek the Bastard, although his Brooch of Time Traveling prevented him from participating in his son's upbringing. Ironically, when Bryvv is twelve years old, he chooses Damek as a father figure in the absence of his mentor Aramel.

Upon leaving the Underdark, Bryvv developed bardly ambitions, acquiring a set of bongos and teaching himself percussion. He studied and imitated the mannerisms, dialects, and storytelling of persons he met, but his performance skills eventually became the means for survival rather than fame.
