Queen of the Shadowfell

The Raven Queen is the ruler of the Shadowfell. She is worshipped as a goddess of death, fate, and winter. She is one of the three aspects of Oblivia. Her equivalent in the Feywild is the four rulers, King Oberon, Queen Titania, The Pumpkin King, and Queen Mab.

Personal history

In 70 3E, the Raven Queen was heavily involved in the adventures of The Chosen Nine. Upon arriving in the Shadowfell, Leisl Siannodel sent a message to the Raven Queen telling the story of A Group of Elves. Xyla, seeing her do this, took the form of a raven and followed the message to the Raven Queen's Castle. She stole the story back and left. As the group left Illon's atmosphere to head to Caldera, Alan and Xyla both had visions of the Raven Queen calling Xyla a thief and taking back the scroll. After the destruction of Caldera, the Raven Queen met the Chosen Nine back at the Fortress of Shadows. She demanded that she and her sons would each pick a champion from their group. The Raven Queen was going to pick Xyla, but before she did, Xyla volunteered. Because the three Champions agreed, the Raven Queen kept the debris from Caldera from falling to Illon, instead forming the Belt of Caldera.
