Fort Expo

Rox Guild hereby authorizes the construction of the military outpost named "Fort Expo". We simply can not with good conscious keep sending lone Soulventures into the battlefield. Fort Expo will be the first large military scale to fight for more land.

Construction Specifications

After several scout parties reported a concentrated amount of huge crawlers and climbing beasts at the Worlds Edge and inside the Fog, we plan on creating a fort whose natural walls repell the majority of them. The monsters intelligence is slightly above the ordinary and some flying critters were also observed, so enhanced air defenses are in order. Details can be found below.

Property Size and First Defenses

We plan on deploying about 20 to 30 Soulventures to fight in the Expo Raids, so a base size of 35 square kilometers would be fitting. Additionally, to address the defenses against crawlers, sharply spiked walls are in order. We are in contact with our artisans to construct poisonous spike heads, hoping for the repellant of most weaker beasts.

Robust Architecture

Inside the base, alloy-braced stone and marble will be the main building blocks for the bunks. Another layer of defenses is raised at raiding times in the form of a magical barrier. We have a total of eight mages on Ignotas, five of which will be employed at Fort Expo as defensive specialists.

Leisure and Practice

Fort Expo is not only a place to sleep and fight in. While that is the primary thing to do, basically daily, there are also taverns, sport facilities, parks and other leisure activities. Fighting grounds, both for sparring against other adventurers and specially captured beasts, are spread all throughout the base.

Fort Expo will be a pioneering military base, not only in the sense of conquering and liberating land, but also in architectual and social ways. I as the project lead will ensure that the Expo Raids will run quick and successful, so the Soulventures can all return to their respective families in due time.
