The most dominant and common race on the planet. A small humanoid race that lacks in strength and magic based powers, but makes up for it with their numbers, cunning mindset, and their desire to remain alive. Over the years they've relied heavily on technology and innovation to survive up till this point, and unlike most races they always prefer to go past their limits to evolve so to speak.
(Honestly though this is our own species, so I'm not going into too much detail unless it's anything significant)

Some don't necessarily mind it interacting with other races, but some do fear particular races do to ancient fairy tales and legends usually portraying certain species as inherently evil. It also doesn't help that other races do carry a grudge against humanity due to the past conflicts and witch hunts that have killed many of their own and took away their lands.
