These beings initially were thought up as a concept centuries ago by religious scholars when they heard rumors about angels loving humans. Once these rumors began to flourish many began to wonder about what might occur if a human or a mortal in general had an offspring with a Celestial being and idea began to scare them. This especially got worst when some Celestials began saying that such acts are amoral and shouldn't be considered by either party.
However, much later did the theorical ideas were confirmed theories once arcane researchers pointed out that beings like the Celestials were incapable of breeding with mortals. Their metaphysical forms were designed off the architect and thus whenever they craft their mortal bodies could they construct the proper parts for the act. Their souls are also in capable of shaving off parts of their souls like Deities to create new spirits or develop demigods with other species.
Years later though, someway or somehow a normal looking human has appeared in the public eye that was capable of performing Celestial esce abilities that should be nearly impossible for Deities let alone humans. At first they were thought to have been a Celestial use a human guise like in the past,, but blood samples confirmed to have come from the subject disproves this theory. They've been classified as the mythical Nephilum by researchers at the institute for now until proven otherwise..
