Man in the Mask

It is unknown who the person beneath the mask is, but those who have gotten close assume that the person is a male. They never correct any if they are misgendered due to trying to keep a low profile. Due to their loyalties to the DPO, they give nothing away of their mission. However, keeping Aiden Shadowlocke and Cal Winterborne alive are their top priorities.
Every now and then, a light blue squirrel is seen with the man, usually perched on his shoulder. He never forces the squirrel off him and always lets it stay there for as long as the squirrel wants. If asked, the man denys that the squrrel exists, thought he is seen talking to it a few times and he has called it by the name Blight.

Man in the Mask: "You betrayed him. It's a no wonder he wants to make you suffer."

Cal Winterborne: "I get it! I fucked up. No need to rub it in my face."

Personality

Most people haven't had the time to survive one of the man's frosty attacks. They are said to be violent and cunning on the battlefield, but quiet and reclussive when resting. They never take off their helmet and it is seen as a part of their personality, where people have to guess what the man is thinking by their movements alone. They judge those they deem traitorous and are willing to punish the person by making them feel guilty until their conscious makes them apologize and beg for forgiveness.

Companion

Blight is a small critter with light blue fur. He emits a cold temperature and doesn't allow anyone but the man to touch him. The man would easily give up their life to protect Blight. Together, they are an unstoppable force, often communicating via chitters that may or may not be translated by the man's helmet.
