Gnomes

Like the humans of the Halruaalan Magisterium, gnomes hold an innate curiosity and desire for invention and innovation. As such, although descendants of fey creatures many Gnomes are held in high regard by the Human wizards (especially in House Hanover). Much of Halruaal's advancements in magic and technology are due to the experimentation of gnomes - which properly funneled can create wonders. Unfortunately, experimentation and advancement urged without ethical creation have produced horrors too gruesome to comprehend... for more on that, one could safely ask the city elves.
