Player Character Information
in HalruaalPlease talk to your DM about your background or if you have any questions. Class, race, ethnicity, and sex/gender (depending on certain classes/regions) play a significant role in Halruaalan society.
While learned magic is considered the most important to the Magisterium, players don't need to limit themselves to being a prepared casters. Many of the realms heroes are made up of non-wizards, such as fighters, rogues, and clerics. Not to mention the general population are certainly not all wizards. For languages, please look at the Ethnicity tab underneath this section.
At the Start characters get a free Talent depending on where in Halruaal they grew up (for information on talents please look at the Background tab:
