Hacienda
Venture forth, explorer of self and strife. Run across the Isles, looking for ways to relieve your suffering and plight. Shattered hearts and broken spirits are encountered in ripe abundance. As they strayed from the mountain, pain ravaged form and spirit, leaving all-purpose redundant. Bonds once remembered are forgotten and lost. A single sacrifice was given, renewing old and new families at great cost. Stand together in what finds and makes you, for you cannot remake your heart. Families renewed stand forever in the shadow of the mountain, unable to fall in the new love that gives everyone a new start. Spirits made whole, dwelling in peace and love. Guided by the Pelicans call, broken souls are made as pure as the whitest dove. Venture forth, explorer of salvation and peace. Follow the new spirit within your temple, as all conflicts around you start to cease.
The Isles of family and hardship can take many forms, with each form being guided by the viewer's perception of his ideal, or nightmarish reality. Despite the many differences that can exist between the waves of want, Hacienda usually takes the form of some sort of island or landscape that is surrounded by an ocean or other mass of the person choosing. From my own will, I see a floating land that is splitting apart and reforming over and over again as the island glides within the depths of want and hope. As I perceive the land before me the first sight I notice is the giant mountain towering over the landscape. Unlike the rest of the island, this titan of a mountain stands firm, unyielding in form despite the chaos that surrounds it. Venturing to the peak of the mountain I see a massive nest, where a giant pelican sits vigilantly. Whiter than the purest light, this beautiful, majestic creature tears his own breast to nurture and strengthen the various races of Hacienda. A sanguine waterfall descends the mountainside, flowing into the lakes and rivers of Hacienda all the way to the edge where the blood rises and returns to the Pelican to be shed for his children eternally. The winds that glide threw out the land whisper the mountains name, Mount Shaddai they whisper to those whose ears are open.
From Mount Shaddai's base, four canyons erupt and cross through the remaining landscape, dividing it into four distinct areas. each of these forests consists of numerous landmarks and areas that symbolize the blessings and struggles of each unit that makes the family whole and shattered. Some of these distinct landmarks lie directly over the canyons, teetering on the brink of two halves united in a single struggle. Surrounding the landmarks that dot Hacienda are dense forests and plains filled with all manner of life and death. Beautiful forests that gleam in both purpose and symbolism as they sparkle in a clandestine beauty that changes to the viewer's delight. These forests though beautiful, also harbor darker secrets that may catch the explorer off guard if they're not paying attention. The canyons themselves contain an endless torrent of roaring monsters and twisted flame rising and falling into the canyon walls, desperately trying to consume the land in unholy fire. Earthquakes are common as the land tears and pulls on itself. The outer borders are the most unstable as chunks of land break off into the abyss of desire itself. Only the land adjacent to the great mountain stands still and firm.
A gentle breeze flows through the landscape, becoming gusts of horrid winds as you venture to the outer edges of the island. The sky itself is deceptively peaceful, hiding the raging waves of chaos above. Various energies shimmer and flow through the tree branches, bringing comfort to the wayward traveler. I sense lavender, pine, citrus, and fresh-cut grass along with various herbs and flowers, though there is a faint stench of rot in the cool breeze of the day. What you will feel here will vary from moment to moment as you walk through this strange land. I pray you find what you're looking for, or rather that what you're looking for finds you first.
Geography
A breathtakingly beautiful land, yet also unstable in more ways than one. Hacienda will trick you, and deceive you into loving illusions that aren't really there. Though you try and focus on what's in front of you, daydreams will ensnare your perception of life the farther you venture from the center of The Isles. Take heed in this place, for many have lost themselves to themselves in this churning land of stability and chaos.
The Isles themselves dwell within the infinite Multiverse of desire and want. Though this multiverse has many forms and names some would call it Solace. So many waves and possibilities, Hacienda being but one of the many waves that exist within this Solace. You are only experiencing a single wave through the eyes of another here. Despite this lucid fact, desire can take many forms, and family is no exception to this rule. Though one may see forests with specific roles and orders established, others may see a totally new landscape, where traditional lines are blurred and family becomes something else entirely. May your adventure through this wave enlighten you in your own wave. Though there are many possibilities, some of these possibilities may be more harmful than you think, with one possible wave being a greater threat to you than the rest.Oculus. One must also consider possibilities that no longer exist, like Sovereign for example. Think, feel, and consider what Hacienda is for you.
Localized Phenomena
There are moments that pass by like a gust of wind in the twilight of dusk and dawn. The very essence of connection seeps through Hacienda from realms of mysterious power. Carnicula whispers, though only in passing. Some see a scream while others see nothing, even as the door of flesh opens and closes before their very eyes.
Fauna & Flora
All manner of trees and fauna can be found here in Hacienda. From the most beautiful flower to the mightiest tree, your senses will enjoy a wide array of beauty that dwells within this strange place. Beware, traveler, for all manners of toxin, disease, and danger dwell here as well. Stay close to the mountain, less you experience the darker and more vicious faunas of Hacienda.
Natural Resources
Resources can be found in the greatest abundance around the mountain base that's centered within the island. Whatever is needed can be provided if one only asks, yet more often than not what you need is given freely to you, as if the mountain already knew your heart. However, if you are to venture to the outer borders of The Isles resources will become exceedingly scarce, yet what you crave most will dwell there in the wastelands of sin. With this in mind, I would ask you what it is you truly want most? As your will is made manifest do you want this place to give you what you need, even as the need is provided for free? Or does your want surpass what you need most?
