On 4 Mirtul, Rayphlárd, Shinzon Greenshadow and Tubby visited Aubrey's Peculiarities Shoppe. The trio met the shopkeeper Aubrey Silverspun; Aubrey admitted that the store wasn't technically open yet, but he welcomed them in anyway.
Shinzon asked if he had any potions or poisons for sale, and Aubrey advised Shinzon to be careful about asking about poisons since they're not legal in town. Aubrey then showed them an item he had under the counter, a pair of horseshoes of speed. He told them they would normally cost around 4,000 GP in a big city, but he would let them borrow them for a while and see how they like them, then they can come back and purchase them if they want.
Purpose / Function
The shoppe is crammed with curiosities from the ruins of Leilon: old fishing rods, swamp idols, mining helmets and other oddities.
A painted mural above the counter shows three adventurers: a dark-skinned warrior woman, a red-bearded dwarf, and a third whose portrait seems to have faded with age.
Sensory & Appearance
When Rayphlárd, Shinzon Greenshadow and Tubby visited Aubrey's Peculiarities Shoppe on 4 Mirtul, they felt a strange sense of unease in the building. There also seemed to be unnaturally cold spots in various places throughout the shoppe.
History
While growing up, Rayphlárd and others in Leilon knew of the building as one that had been in ruins since the town was destroyed in 1385. When Rayphlárd returned to Leilon on 4 Mirtul it appeared to have been quickly rebuilt and opened by a newcomer to town named Aubrey Silverspun.
