Leilon Shrine of Lathander
The Shrine of Lathander is the largest and most popular religious building in Leilon. It is located next to the Shrine of Tyr and near the town harbor. The caretaker of the Shrine of Lathander is Merrygold Brightshine.
Purpose / Function
The Shrine of Lathander hosts worship services every day at dawn. The services are held upstairs in a room facing east so the worshipers can watch the sun rise.
The caretaker Merrygold Brightshine also offers spellcasting services for worshipers. For example, for a donation of 10 GP she will cast cure wounds, and for a donation of 20 GP she will cast lesser restoration.
Architecture
The Shrine of Lathander's first floor is a simple X-shaped building, and a central staircase leads to a single second-story room in which worship services are held every day at dawn.
The building also has a basement in which the caretaker Merrygold Brightshine's brother Barry lives and conducts his work as a blacksmith. Barry doesn't operate a storefront out of the basement; he sets up a table in the Leilon Town Square to conduct his business most days.
