Sir Hama Bash
Background and Role in Our Story
Sir Hama Bash was born in Thrantium in 634VD to a well off and respected family of the city. Having a tradition of military service within his family, Sir Hama decided to somewhat follow in those footsteps by joining the city guard. His men, despite him coming from the higher strand of society, respected him for his strength and willingness to take a hands on approach to leadership. Sir Hama took the traditional course of promotion and rose through the ranks, his apprehension of a dangerous trafficker that had been working through Thrantium Dockside the final success on his road to becoming captain of the Thrantium city guard. When our heroes arrived at Thrantium, Sir Hama was facing a tower of issues. Count Merillion had left for Noverium with a large retinue of guards just over a week earlier, when all of a sudden there were reports of strange occurrences all over the county: flying bottles; flooding mines; people spouting pink bubbles. Considering he was already dealing with a huge spike in crime from the Four Fingers, Sir Hama went to the Mage's guild of Viseria for assistance but they ended up being even less helpful than normal, refusing to do anything until admissions were over. On top of this, people were reacting badly to the growing number of dragonborn refugees in the city and two embassies from Draconia were causing him a constant headache. Sir Hama had no choice but to lockdown the city until things were sorted. Luckily, the bonk squad came along. Vyth, Knor Ti and Larry were intrinsic in fixing many of his issues. Within a matter of days, the bonk squad had relieved Sir Hama of many of his worries. However, they always seemed to return with outlandish explanations and more complex issues. Eventually, understanding that there seemed to be some element of fey at play in the city (even though Sir Hama knew that fey weren't real), Sir Hama was informed by the squad that there was an assassination plotted on the Count's life. Taking preparations to the ball, Sir Hama himself was one of the targets of the assassination that night. Despite a brave fight unarmed, Sir Hama fell, only to be resurrected from the dead by Greyanna Xilthin, the head priestess of the Dockside temple. The first thing he saw as he was drawn back from the door were her eyes... Slightly worse for wear after his near-death experience, Sir Hama got the full story from the bonk squad. Not all that sure he understood all of it, he comprehended the level of danger Thrantium was in and that it seemed to have something to do with the fey. Sir Hama decided to assist the bonk squad in any way he could, in order to protect his beloved city. In the fey siege-stone attack on Thrantium, Sir Hama fought with the bonk squad in the battle of Thrantos' Plaza, where Jeffrey and Jakaris were killed. Afterwards, he left the squad to fight Verion and Fallas, whilst he went to help the citizens and ensure the safety of the Count and Greyanna.Appearance
Sir Hama is a well-built unit of a man in his late 40s. He has swept back black hair and a clean-cut beard, with the odd grey hair streaking through it. Often seen in his simple plate armour, Sir Hama's eyes are slightly gaunter after his resurrection and he now sports a nasty, gaping scar on his chest from where he was fatally stabbed.Personality

Sir Hama likes justice and fairness. He loves the city of Thrantium and the people within it. Sir Hama enjoys a good fight and training session, especially when there's a pie and pint afterwards. Sir Hama... is unsure of his feelings for Lady Greyanna but she is a fine priestess and to be respected *cough* Sir Hama dislikes dishonesty and long council meetings. Bureaucracy and politics does his head in. He doesn't dislike magic users, but he tends to find that they make everything too complicated when sometimes the straightforward way is the simplest. Sir Hama hates criminals and those that take advantage of others. Also, Jeffrey is a useless guard and infuriates Sir Hama to no end.Personality quirks
Since returning from the dead, Sir Hama is often gripped by fits of shivering and headaches. Sir Hama spends a surprisingly large amount of his time sighing and rubbing his face. Sir Hama is incredibly awkward when it comes to romance and Lady Greyanna. However, in everything else he is confident and to the point.
