Greyanna Xilthin

Background and Role in Our Story

Born in Sylvanthair in 621VD to an elf father and human mother, Greyanna was subtly looked down upon by the elves. As soon as she got the chance, she left the forests of the West to wander the world. During her travels, Greyanna found a home in a small commune of worshippers of Lathander, where she learned to heal. Eventually moving on, she came to the city of Amonir, where she caught the eye of someone after intervening in a robbery. When Greyanna next reappeared many years later, it was as a priestess of Lathander in the temple in Thrantium Dockside. In our tale, Greyanna gave an anonymous tip off to Sir Hama Bash of an upcoming deal with the Four Fingers, having watched their movements for some time. The bonk squad were the ones to follow up the tip and Greyanna watched them fight the criminals, intervening and helping. It was at this point that she noticed the medallion hung around Terry's neck, which Old Mae had given him. She was shocked at him wearing it and wondered if he had earned it, though it quickly became clear that he had not. Returning to the temple, she wondered if these heroes would help with the Four Fingers' recently increasing levels of activity. The bonk squad did visit her a few more times, sometimes with questions about the Four Fingers and sometimes not. Later on, they asked for her help in keeping an eye out at the Count's ball for an assassination attempt. While at the ball, she was distracted by a fire in the chapel and ran to face the would-be assassins. Having cut them down and thinking she had helped mitigate the threat, she turned to see Vyth Aar galloping towards her with the lifeless body of Sir Hama in his arms. Greyanna's breath caught in her throat. Praying with all her devotion to Lathander, she managed to pull Sir Hama back from the brink of death. Convinced of the heroes' admirable intentions, she's decided to support them in anyway she can and to use them to fight the Four Fingers, while tending to Sir Hama's wounds. After the fey siege-stone attack on Thrantium, Greyanna revealed to Terry Tinkle that she was a member of the Silver Sentinels, the mark of which was emblazoned upon the medallion Old Mae had given him. Greyanna revealed that the Silver Sentinels were an underground network of people dedicated to fighting wrong-doing and protecting the inhabitants of the material plane from existential threats. Although she did not grant Terry full membership, she did admit Old Mae must have seen something in him and told him to look for Silver Sentinels in Aldradia for help.

Appearance

Greyanna has the slender frame of a half-elf. Her hair is kept short and is a striking platinum blonde, which compliments her blue eyes and the freckles on her cheeks. More often than not she's dressed in the white robes that she and her acolytes wear at the temple, along with the symbol of Lathander that she keeps close to her heart.

Likes and Dislikes

Greyanna loves helping those in need and her time in the temple is precious to her. In her mind, a healthy body and mind go hand in hand; one cannot exist without the other, so she trains both. She also approves of Sir Hama Bash, he's a good man...with a nice beard. Greyanna dislikes all forms of evil, crime and prejudice. She also can't stand tomatoes
