Mothelkan
Mothelkan is a base used for training, outfitting, and deploying Jhoutigari Exterminators. It also known to have facilities and shelters for protecting the imperial family, though the extent of these facilities are unknown to the public.
It is located in the heart of Drat'n Metkrah, in the Hunter's Reserve near to the Imperial Palace.
History
Originally constructed by the Valuser'ran Supremacy as a Rajhska barracks, temple, and administrative complex, Mothelkan fell permanantly under Aempian during the Rebalancing.
In The Last Stand of the Sunken Sailors, Captain Snowmane and his crew, save for Tigari Tor Jadey, perished in battle defending Mothelkan and the Circlet of Lun-Kheren against Lord Motalta.
After securing Mothelkan for themselves, Aempis converted the complex into a Hunter's Barracks, and marked the surrounding land as nature reserve. Hunters come in from all over the world to be trained and certified in the care or extermination of the wildlife of Ethnis.
Mothelkan's architecture is a tale of conquest and modernization. This complex—as large as a small city and operating off of a discrete municipal system, sprawls out across dense foresty and difficult terrain, daying any to contest its domains. It has not seen combat since The Harrowing, when Brood Blood-Kyn attacked Drat'n Metkrah and Mothelkan, critically damaging the structure before Anthem, Hierus Nomen, and Mero Tmir Tor Saujalus diverted her off to Audiograve.
