Demesne of Tiset
The Demesne of Tiset has two notable quarries, one of which produces vast quantities of stone and the other serves as a decent source of tin.
Geography
The Demesne of Tiset lies firmly within the Imperial Gorge. As such the east and west sides of the field are bounded by scrub-land that slope up into The Red Waste. The Kervakhen River is the primary defining feature, bisecting the region from north to south. Downriver, to the south, it the Demesne of Memphem and to the north is the Demesne of Placeholder.
The demesne itself is primarily rolling irrigated fields with the occasional hill used for grazing. During the spring and early summer the banks of the river swell twofold, flooding the fields with fertile silt. Further away from the river the fields gradually transition from grassland into scrub-land and finally into desert.

Fauna & Flora
The natural landscape of this region is rolling grassland with the occasional copse of trees. Most of the territory immediately adjacent to the river was been plowed and irrigated, but pockets of wildlife remain.

Natural Resources
The primary natural resource of the demesne is the river and resources it provides, most notably agriculture. Several quarries have been exposed in the cliff-side which allows mud-brick constructions to be replaced by stone in wealthy areas.

Common Monsters
Most of the monstrous or dangerous creatures have been eliminated or are kept to a low population by the Bataunin. However, intelligent creatures such as gnolls, orcs, and lizardfolk present a more serious problem, and occasionally congregate in the wilderness to make a nuisance of themselves.Civilization - Human Settlements
