Government

Kahem falls in the Demesne of Arnak in the empire. The region is run by a governor who sits in the City of Arnak. The governor appoints a mayor to each town in the demesne.
The current mayor of Kahem is Mayor Amur, although Old Man Djese is the town elder who most of the people come to with their problems. In addition, the protection of the town is overseen by the Lightguards, of which 3 members are currently posted in the town. The overall alignment of the governance is Chaotic Good. There is a natural tension within the populace between the relatively new Imperial law and the wisdom of the elders. The one issue which unifies the two ruling powers is the desire to find the source of Pixie's Fire in town and shut it down.

Defences

Simple canal encircles the major portion of the town.
