Timbervalley - Anglon

Timbervalley, Anglon
Timbervalley is located in the east of Anglon, and is primarily composed of forests, meadows, a few mountain ranges, and a large swampland. The swampland is called the Lake Lands and is in the western region of the kingdom.

History

In the Origin Age, 50,000 (33,333 Earth years) years before the Silver Age, Timbervalley was covered in swamplands. Swampscale Naga were native, building structures out of mud and wood to shelter them from the toxic rain that commonly happened. They hunted giant insects and fish, along with building the Vinemoor Pillars around 27,500 (18,333) years ago.   The Swampscale Naga went extinct ~24,000 (16,000) years ago, hunted by primitive humans and ancient creatures of the swamp.   8,089 (5,392) years before the Silver Age, a gateway was created near the border of Timbervalley, where Earthgrove Forest would be many centuries later.   The swamplands shifted to more dry grasslands and forests over the course of centuries, only leaving a patch in West Timbervalley called the Lake Lands. In the Silver Age, on a night of the Moon Festival, a spirit known as Deadweaver terrorizes a small village called Longdale in Deerfair Forest, Timbervalley - Anglon. The people requested a boy called Doppel investigate it and he explored a mansion where he met a friendly skeleton named Asher. The 2 find Deadweaver and let his spirit rest.   A few days later, Doppel rediscovers the hidden gateway to the Kingdom of Ryoga in Earthgrove Forest with Joe, his friend, and reactivates the portal.   Sometime during the Silver Age, Coldseer Karzeith - An infamous mage in Timbervalley - was killed and eaten by the Gloomglow Lamia in its cavern in Spiritpeak Forest.
