City of Autumoor
Founded 70 years after Anglon was conceived, the city was built between a river and mountain range overlooking the Lake Lands southwest. The trees which surrounded the plot of land were yellow and silver, in a seemingly endless autumn state - the origins were of Silverwood, planted by a failed commune of Ancient Folk that pilgrimaged from their portal in Earthgrove Forest. After uncovering this history in the Platinum Age, the archeologists came to the conclusion that the cause of their demise might've been the same creature that created the Drakefoot Plains, alas no hint of such creature exists.
The city was named Autumnmoor, inspired by the silver and gold trees and the onlook of moors in the distant horizon - moors that covered more of the land during this time period. Throughout the Silver Age, the famed trees reduced in numbers to become timber for the city, and the people were unsuccessful in planting new saplings of their kind. Eventually, only a small plot of these trees remained - protected by the monarchy to preserve and figure out a way to renew them. In the mid Golden Age, the city's name was officially shortened to Autumoor, as many found this colloquialism to be easier to pronounce.
