House Ramas

House Ramas is one of the wealthier noble families in the Kingdom of Alsona. Having recently fallen into difficult times and then making a miraculous recovery after the Wingo War, other houses and some citizens view them as war profiteers. Others believe that they have made the best of a bad situation, with three heirs in a row having been killed shortly before and during the conflict. They have positioned themselves as loyal supporters of the monarchy, pledging their support for the Queen and the efforts to maintain peace and more subtly shift the balance of power against the dwarf and elf kingdoms. Their wealth and leadership has made them some of the most envied aristocrats in The Patridaxos.

Public Agenda

The members of the Ramas family are ardent supporters of the Queen and the tenuous peace with the elves and dwarves. They have also poured financial support into the establishment of the barony of Highveldt, growing ties with the baron and his council. They have advocated for increased independence of the barony, in the hopes of swaying them as willing allies in any future conflict against the elves. Internally, they have maintained a xenophobic stance, particularly against dwarves, which puts them at odds with other supporters of the monarchy.

Assets

The wealth of House Ramas is considerable and growing exponentially. Led by a firm financial mind during the Wingo War, they were able to exploit the military losses into revitalizing the town of Stoupi and causing a resurgence in its lost wealth and prestige. These funds have also been turned into growing investments in Highveldt, and a scion of the house has recently taken up residence in Kingsward itself. The new headquarters built there has promised to become a enterprising place of business as the house attempts to grow closer with the baron.
