Nessa

A female yuan-ti and member of the Desert Dreamers. Raised in the caves of Sheyuan as a devout worshiper of Dendar, she was banished from her homeland after challenging key tenants of the faith's worship. For years she was forced to wander the Campanel Desert in abject poverty, but Maris Sissava discovered her begging on a street corner in Orem and offered her an influential position in her fledgling organization.
Thankful to be saved from a life of squalor, Nessa worked zealously to further Maris' cause in Sabha and abroad. She was one of the group's first agents to infiltrate the Northern Territories, but when the Oda-Kiri War broke out in 906 she was stuck inside the city of Younashi when Oda Clan's siege began. Maris had to contract a band of adventurers known as the Seeking Scorpions to rescue Nessa and her ally Reshi in a high-stakes operation. The two of them relocated to Sanjuro City, where they set up a small spy network keeping tabs on the Northern Territories' shifting alliances after the collapse of Kiri Clan. Her and Reshi have struggled to expand their network throughout the region, but they've been able to operate undetected in Sanjuro City for years.
