Zagreus
A small town within the Paris county of Atalanta, close to the town of Era, and their biggest rival town. For while Era tills grains and makes grain alcohol, Zagreus is a town that tills Grapes and makes Wine. The two have a much friendlier competition in the modern-day than they did before, but it's still rather heated.
Along with that, there's a big market for glassblowing, specifically bottle-making, and it's as essential as the Wine industry in the town and its area, working off of the minerals of the land.
Demographics
Zagreus' population is mostly divided amongst Humans and Elves, but there's also a high Goblin population along with some Genasi. No one's quite sure why so many Genasi are in the town, but they help enrich the land and they make for good farmers, so no one's complaining.
Government
While Zagreus has an official Senator like all of Atalanta, but in actuality, the town is run by a circle of Vineyard owners that've been in the city since its founding.
Defences
Zagreus is a walled town much like all of Atalanta, and the Senator makes sure that the local guard force stays active and well provided for. There's also a handful of mages in the city who have raised elemental protections for the vineyards.
Industry & Trade
Wine is the town's greatest industry and lifeblood, and all the businesses that connect to it. From farming to irrigation, to making the vineyards specifically, to bottle making, barrel making, shipping, you name it.
Infrastructure
The cities infrastructure is dependant on Vineyard growth, Wine Production, and Bottle-making. All the related businesses connected to it are the most supported, although the wealth the town brings in allows for the others to be moderately well-off as well.
Guilds and Factions
While Zagreus doesn't have any official guilds, there are several different Vineyard families that are in constant competition with one another for financial dominance in the city.
Architecture
Most of the architecture in the city has your basic wood and stone, although much of it including the walls of the city incorporates scaffolding or fences that grapevines flow across.
