Posedo
A small yet prolific town within the Paris county of Atalanta, Posedo is mainly a fishing town but also has a strong water filtration industry in the modern years. Alongside this, it's a strongly religious town as well, especially for The Ascendants of The Voyaging, The Sailor, and The Teller for prosperity and fortune in the water. It's nowhere near as religious as Pajawo but it's a close second.
Demographics
Most of Posedo's people are Humans and Elves, although of that elven population most are Sea Elves due to the cities nature as not only a fishing town but also as one with a decent port as well. Similarly, there are many Tritons and Aquatic Hybrids located in the town.
Of the town's population, most live in or near the walls of the town, while others live along the river nearby before stepping into Artemis territory.
Government
Much like its neighboring towns, Posedo is small enough for the Senator to handle the bigger issues, but monthly Town Halls are organized for grievances or interest measuring.
Defences
The town's walls have been secured and reinforced over the years, and the docks by the river are well guarded against any possible attacks in theory, but due to the unlikelihood of that happening, the guards mostly take part in the fishing instead.
Industry & Trade
The town has three main industries, each of which is water-based. Firstly, the Fishing Industry is the most successful, as the town has a strong and renewable relationship with the water, which some might have the local clerics to thank for. Secondly, the Shipment Industry, as their position at the end of the river before one reaches Paris allows for a lot of importing and exporting that would be harder to make otherwise. Thirdly, the Water Filtration Industry is their most recent and the most modern, but it's looking to be one of the biggest in future years.
Infrastructure
As one can assume from the cities closeness to water, the sewer system is quite modern compared to other small towns, and the towns main draw of popularity is their high-end filtration systems, where they can purify and sell water from the natural river, along with many marine scientists using the atypical pH balance of the local water to run experiments.
Architecture
Many of the buildings in Posedo use local lumber and stone for construction, with some utilizing metal in the modern day. Regardless, all buildings tend to follow some flowing motion in their architecture, either in design or art within the building, to honor the waves of the river.
