Diuja
In a small town on the outskirts of Paris lies plains where Animals outnumber the mortal population. In the fields of Diuja, where the population mostly lives in distant farmlands within its borders rather than the main city itself, the natural resources lend themselves well to growing various different species for animals. This, combined with the need for such things from nearby cities, especially Paris, the capital of the country Diuja is located in, keeps the industry going.
Demographics
Most of Diuja is human, however, the connection with Animals and Nature has drawn in certain members of beast-like races, especially Firbolgs and Shifters.
Government
Due to being a small community, Senator Lucette Dupont manages to things herself, without the aid of a council like larger cities. However, given the territories large amount of people living away from the main city, town halls are held once every two weeks to get community feedback and information.
Industry & Trade
Diuja's most frequent Industry is various types of Animal Rearing, from beasts of burden like Oxen and Direboars to animal product production like Wool from Sheep and Milk from Cows and Rams to Meat and Leather production as well.
However, most of the workers do not actually reside in the city, and either come from neighboring towns or Paris.
Infrastructure
Like many cities in Atalanta, Diuja has a stone wall constructed, although it's less modern and updated than other cities. Furthermore, the main city has modern plumbing and some minor modern Mana Power systems, while homesteads away from the city will depend on family constructions.
History
Diuja started merely as a collection of homesteads for different farmers, starting before even the advent of Paris. However, as news of the lands vitality spread, more wishful farmers came to the area, and once the modern city of stone began to be built, many workers who wished to live in the city, but did better in nature than in stone, came to the territory for work. Over the millennia, this has made Diuja a valuable town, but one without much expansion, due to its town industries requiring more open space and fields than anything else.
Architecture
Most of the city has simple wooden housing from the nearby Orion Forests, but some also use stone and rocks from the nearby river.
